Goals and tasks
The forum was founded in spring 2001 and has set itself the task of providing impetus for digital administration. It brings together leading experts to discuss, evaluate and help shape new and existing solutions for e-government. The group of experts consists of members from public administration, business, science and consulting. E-government forces us to rethink, streamline or even redesign processes. Many of the demands of administrative reform (as have been made for years by New Public Management) are thus coming within reach of realization.
In recent years, international exchange and comparison have become increasingly important, particularly due to the deepening of the European Union.
