The first OCG Journal 2024 is dedicated to young researchers in the field of informatics in Austria. The focus of the issue IT security, from data protection and privacy to firewalls and vulnerabilities in software design - topics that concern all of us.

As in the previous year, the young researchers who took part in the Young Researcher's Day, organised by the OCG Working Group IT Security, at the IKT Sicherheitskonferenz of the Austrian Armed Forces, get the opportunity to present their work in the OCG Journal. Authors come from various universities and universities of applied sciences and were recommended by the OCG jury members of the OCG awards.
