On April 8, 2024, the OCG hosted the NIS-2 Business Breakfast with a focus on legal aspects. The event was organised in cooperation with CRYPTAS and SOPHOS.

Expertly moderated by Wolfgang Prentner, civil engineer and head of the OCG Certification Committee (ISO/IEC 27001), the speakers gave the interested audience an insight into current developments: Arno Spiegel (BKA, NIS office), Stefan Eder (Benn-Ibler Rechtsanwälte GmbH), Thomas Pfeiffer (Linz Netz), Stefan Bumerl (CRYPTAS), Markus Gröller (SOPHOS), Nina Thomann (NCC-AT) and Wolfgang Resch (OCG).

After the keynote speeches, the speakers answered numerous questions from the audience. The opportunity for a personal (informal) exchange with the experts at the business lunch was welcomed by many guests.

The Network and Information System Security Act 2024 - NISG 2024 (NIS-2) has been under review since April 3. Until May 1 to it is possible to submit your comments. 

The Cyber Security Scheck 2023 funding call has been extended, there is still funding available from the FFG. Applications can be submitted until April 15!
